2010 state treasurer campaign

Colin Bonini ran for state treasurer in 2010. But he loses to Democrat chip Flowers. Flowers, the attorney received fifty-one percent of the vote. Bonini was defeated by 6,121 votes.

2016 gubernatorial campaign

After the election of 2014, Colin Bonini announced that he was going to run for governor. He also declared that his campaign would be focusing on fixing the state’s “significant systemic and fundamental problems”.

Bonini competed with the former state trooper, Lacey Lafferty in the Republican primary election which he won with 70 percent of the vote. But, he lost to U.S. Congressman, John Carney in the general election. He was defeated because he could collect less than 40% of the vote.
