For the 2019 Senior Bowl, he played for the North team. In the same year, he made his debut in the first preseason game against the interleague-rival New York Jets. He completed all 5 of his passes for 67 yards and a touchdown in the same game. In 2020, Daniel was selected to be the team captain in his second season.
