Jared Leto is an American actor and musician. Jared Joseph Leto won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance at the Dallas Buyers Club in 2013. He also co-founded and led 30 Seconds to Mars, a popular alternative rock band. 

Jared Joseph Leto was born in Bossier City, Louisiana on 26th December 1971. He is 48 years old as of 2020. His birth sign is Sagittarius. He is a tall man with height 5’9”. His mother has ancestry in Cajun. “Leto” is his stepfather’s surname. When he was a child, his parents divorced. Jared Leto Education 

Leto attended Flint Hill School. He went to Emerson Preparatory School and graduated in 1989. He first enrolled at ‘Philadelphia’s University of the Arts.’ After discovering his passion for acting, he later transferred to New York City’s ‘School of Visual Arts.’

To pursue his career, he moved to Los Angeles in 1992. He was seeking opportunities in both acting and music. He landed his first role in the ‘Camp Wilder’ television show the same year.

In 2002, the ’30 Seconds to Mars’ band released their self-titled debut album. It was a concept album that concentrated on human struggles. The album received positive feedback from critics. In 2005, ’30 Seconds to Mars’ released their second ‘A Beautiful Lie’ album. This album, which differed considerably from its predecessor, gave rise to three hit singles. 

One of his most famous movie roles became his portrayal of ‘Mark David Chapman’ in the biographical film ‘Chapter 27’ in 2007 became one of his most famous movie roles. The movie depicted the murder of John Lennon. The movie attempted to explore the psyche of the killer. He appeared in the 2009 science fiction movie ‘Mr. Nobody.’ He played’ Nemo Nobody,’ the last Earth mortal, who narrates the important events of his life at the age of 118. 

In 2009, the album ‘This Is War’ was released by the band. It peaked at number 18 on ‘Billboard 200.’ To promote the album, the band members embarked on an extended worldwide tour. ‘Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams’ is the next album released by the band in 2013. It was a concept album containing four segments. It peaked on ‘Billboard 200’ at number six. 

In the biographical drama film ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ in 2013, Jared portrayed the character of a transgender woman named ‘Rayon.’ The character earned him several accolades and nominations from all over the world. In the 2016 super-hero film ‘Suicide Squad, he was seen as the’ Joker.’ He appeared alongside an ensemble cast that included Will Smith and Margot Robbie.

Jared appeared as the lead in the neo-noir science fiction film’ 2036: Nexus Dawn’ in 2017. He then appeared as the main antagonist in’ Blade Runner 2049.’ The album promotes and experiments with electronic and art-pop, and opened at number two on ‘Billboard 200.’ In 2018,’ 30 Seconds to Mars’ released their fifth studio album ‘America.’ He was also seen as the lead in the Japanese-American crime drama thriller ‘The Outsider.’ In 2018, he was cast to play the titular role of ‘Dr. Michael Morbius in the superhero movie ‘Morbius,’.’ He became part of the crime thriller film’ The Little Things’ in the following year.
