Edwards won the election and got the seat of the House of Representatives of Louisiana.
John was re-elected to the House of Representatives of Louisiana in 2011. He defeated opponent Johnny Duncan by getting 83 to 17%votes. Amite, part of Hammond, Greensburg, and Kentwood were the cities/towns represented by Edwards.
