Louis Tyrone Williams, also known as Lou Williams, is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association. He was selected from high school by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 45th overall win in the 2005 draft.

Philadelphia 76ers (2005-2012)
After a disappointing training performance Williams fell in the second round of the draft and was ultimately voted 45th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers. Williams played sparingly as a rookie averaging 1.9 points and 0.3 assists in more than 30 games.
After performing well in the D-League and trade rumors surrounding 76ers starting point guard Allen Iverson Williams was called back to the 76ers roster on December 5.
During the 2007-08 season Williams averaged 11.3 dpi 3.2 apg and 2.0 rpg respectively. At the end of that season Williams became a restricted free agent and signed a five-year contract worth $ 25 million to stay with Philadelphia.
