Celeb Tribune has compiled a list of all the movies and series set to premiere on Netflix in the USA throughout September 2020. September has some of the excellent titles including huge originals such as I’m Thinking of Ending Things, The Devil All the Time, and Ratched already lined up. So let’s dive in.

Below is the full list of what’s coming in September 2020 on Netflix.

Note that this list only applies to Netflix in the USA.

Adrift (2018)- It is about the story of survival of a couple who get caught in a hurricane. The biopic starred Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin. 

Anaconda (1997)- It is the horror flick of the 90s where a National Geographic filming crew gets taken as hostages.

Back to the Future Trilogy- All three back to the future movies once again return to Netflix in the US.

Barbershop (2002)- A comedy set in a barbershop in Chicago. 

Bookmarks- Celebrating Black voices (Season 1)- Preschool series retelling black stories

Barbie Princess Adventure (2020)- It is an animated musical adventure with Barbie. 

Blue Exorcist (Season 2)- You will love to watch new episodes of the excellent anime series. 

Borgen (Season 1-3)- It is an excellent political thriller that finally joins Netflix ahead of season 4 due out on Netflix in the next couple of years. 

Children of the Sea (2019)- It is the Anime movie.

Coneheads (1997)- It is a comedy movie which is based on the SNL skit. 

Due Date (2010)- This comedy movie is directed by Todd Philips. 

The movie starred Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis.

Grease (1978)- It is a timeless musical featuring John Travolta.

Glory (1989)- It is a biographical movie. The movie featured Denzel Washington about the first all-black volunteer company in the U.S. Civil war. 

Erased (Season 1)- It is the Anime set in 1980. In the story, the boy travels back in time to help save his classmates. 

Felipe Esparza; Bad Decisions/ Malas Decisiones (2020)- Two stand up specials where on is presented in Spanish and another in English. 

Fate/ Grand Order- First Order (2020) – it is the Anime movie which is about a new recruit sent back in time to save the future. 

Heidi (Season 2)- it is the more animated adventures up in the mountains with Hedi. 

H (Multiple Seasons)- It is the French ensemble comedy set in a hospital. 

Muppet’s Most Wanted (2014)- It is the big Muppet movie by Disney. The movie Starred Ty Burrell, Ricky Gervais, and Tina Fey. 

Magic Mike (2012)- It is a comedy movie by Steven Soderbergh. It featured Channing Tatum about a male stripper teaching the tricks of the trade. 

Not Another Teen Movie (2001)- it is the comedy movie of Chris Evans which combines every high school comedy that comes before it. 

Profession (1981) – It is the Classic horror movie from Andrzej Zulawski. 

Pineapple Express (2008)- Seth Rogen comedy movie directed by David Gordon Green.

Puss in Boots (2011)- It is the movie in which DreamWorks spin-offs of Puss in boots who was a regular in Shrek. 

Red Dragon (2002)- Crime thriller movie of Anthony Hopkins.

Residue- It is unclear what version it is.

Sister Sister (Season 1-6)- UPN classic comedy sitcom series of the 90s. It is created by Kimm bass and Gary Gilbert about twins separated at birth. 

Sex drive (2008)- It is the Sean Anders comedy. It is about a high school senior cross-country to meet a girl whom he met online. 

The Boss baby; Get that baby! (Interactive Special)- Dream works interactive spin off of the Boss Baby Franchise. It gives you the opportunity to work at Baby corp. 

The Producers (2005)- It is a comedy musical. It starred Matthew Broderick and Uma Therman.

The Muppets (2011)- it is one of Disney’s rebooted Muppet movies.

The Smurfs (2011)- It is the first live-action reboot of the classic children’s cartoon from Sony Pictures.

The Promised Neverland (Season 1)- It is the anime Series.

True; Friendship Day (2020)- It is another kids’ animated special set in the true world. 

Thomas and Friends (Season 24)- It is more animated adventures with Thomas the Tank Engine.

Wildlife (2018)- It is a Quaint drama which is about a teenage boy dealing with his father temporarily abandoning them.

Zathura- It is unclear about what version it is.

Bad boy Billionaires; India (Season 1)- It is an Indian docu-series.

Chef’s table; BBQ (Season 1)- A new spin-off for chef’s table that looks at the world of BBQ.

Freaks- You are one of us (2020)- It is the German superhero movie about a fry cook discovering she has power. 

What’s available on September 3rd 

Afonso Padilha; Alma de Pobre (2020)- It is the Portuguese stand-up special. 

Love, Guaranteed (2020)- it is the new romantic movie starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Damon Wayans Jr. 

Young Wallander (Season 1)- The series is based on the Swedish and British series Wallander. A newly graduated police officer finds himself embroiled in grisly cases.

What’s available on September 4th 

Away (Season1)- it is the new sci-fi series. The series features Hillary Swank.

I’m Thinking of Ending Things (2020)- This new drama is adapted from the novel starring Jesse Plemons. The movie is written and directed by Charlie Kaufman. 

The Lost Okoroshi (2019)- it is the action drama Nollywood movie.

Take Me Home Tonight (2011)- The romantic comedy movie is set four years after graduation students meet up with one hoping to make a move on his high school crush. Set in 1980. 

What’s available on September 7th 

Cargo (2019)- It is a space movie in Hindi. The movie is about a young female astronaut.

My Octopus Teacher (2020)- It is the investigative documentary looking into a man and his relationship with octopus. 

Midnight Special (2016)- It is a sci-fi thriller movie. The movie is about a boy displaying superhero powers and a father’s attempts to keep him safe from the authorities. 

Record of Youth (Season 1)- it is the New K-drama. The drama is about three young fashionistas.

Transformers; Cyberverse (Season 2)- It is the series that has more adventures with the Autobots.

Waiting for ‘Superman’ (2010)- It is a documentary looking into the state of education in America.

Star Beam (Season 2)- It is the second season of the animated children’s series. 

What’s available on September 9th 

Cuties/Mignonnes (2020)- It is the movie that is about the young girl named Amy who defies her family tradition to become the part of a twerking dance crew.

Get Organized with the Home Edit (season 1)- It is the first season of Netflix series which is produced by Reese Witherspoon giving homes much-needed makeovers.

La Línea: Shadow of Narco (Season 1) N – It is the first season of Docu-series. The series shows the beach town of Spain turned into Europe’s deadliest drug trafficking hub of Europe.

The Social Dilemma (2020) N – It is the documentary premiered at Sundance about how social media controls us.

What’s available on September 10th 

Greenleaf (Season 5) – The fifth and final season of the OWN show. The show is about a megachurch and the family that runs it.

Julie and the Phantoms (Season 1) N – It is the Family musical series which is about a girl trying to rebuild a teen boy band.

The Gift (Atiye) (Season 2) N – It is the return of the Turkish supernatural series.

The Indhun Chronicles (Season 1) N – It is the anime series made in Spanish.

The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020) N – it is the sequel to The Babysitter. The movie is directed once again by McG.

Family Business (Season 2) N – It is the second season of french comedy series which is about a family that’s at the top of their game selling grass.

Girlfriends (Multiple Seasons) – It is the comedy sitcom series that follows four different women.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) – It is the second Dreamworks movie with Hiccup and Toothless.

Pokemon Journeys (Part 2) N – It is the new episodes in the brand new Pokemon series which is exclusive to Netflix.

Pets United (2020) N – It is an animated movie. It features a dog and a cat that joins the forces to defeat the mayor and his lethal robot army.

The Duchess (Season 1) N – It is the New comedy series from comedian Katherine Ryan.

America’s Book of Secrets (Season 2) – It is the docu-series of the HISTORY channel. It is about various scandals and conspiracies surrounding the US government.

Ancient Aliens (Season 3) – It is the docu-series of HISTORY channel about aliens.

Beyond Scared Straight (Season 4) – It is the reality series with at-risk teens getting a glimpse into their potential future in prison.

Cold Case Files Classic (Season 1) – It is the first season with Docuseries looking into unsolved murders through forensic science.

Hope Frozen: A Quest to Live Twice (2020) N – It is the documentary that covers debatable heartfelt scientists looking to freeze their dying toddler with a hope to bring him back in the future.

Izzy’s Koala World (Season 1) N – It is the nature series for kids. This series shows 11-year-old Izzy and her family rescue koala and helps them to return to that habitat in Australia’s magnetic land.

Michael McIntyre: Showman (2020) – It is the stand-up special comedy by British Comedian.

Pawn Stars (Season 2) – It is the buy and sell reality series of HISTORY channel.

Taco Chronicles (Volume 2) N – It is the food reality series looking into the world’s best Tacos

The Curse of Oak Island (Season 4) – It is the Docu-series from History Channel continuing their expedition on Oak Island.

The Rap Game (Season 1) – It is the reality series where contestants attempt to break into the rap industry.

The Smurfs 2 (2013) – It is the sequel of the Smurfs series of Sony live-action.

The Universe (Season 2) – It is the Docu-series. The series is looking into the biggest scientific questions.

What is available on September 16th

Baby (Season 3)– It is the final season of Italian drama which shows the journey of two teen girls.

Challenger: The Final Flight (Season 1) N – It is the Docu-series looking into the Challenger space program.

Criminal: UK (Season 2) N – More intense throwdowns in the interrogation room.

The Devil All the Time (2020) N – The movie starred Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson and it is one of the biggest movies to release on Netflix this fall. 

Meat-eater (Season 9) N- It is the Docu-series.

SING ON! (Season 1) N – It is the first season of series. This series is about the fast-paced and high-energy karaoke competition in which singers from all walks of life compete for up to 30,000 euros. 

Signs / Znaki (Season 2) N – It is the polish crime thriller series.

The Paramedic / El practicante (2020) N – It is the Spanish thriller.

Dragon’s Dogma (Season 1) – It is the new Japanese anime series. It is a franchise of video games.

The Last Word / Das Letzte Wort (Season 1) N – It is the German comedy series.

Enola Holmes (2020) N – It is the British witty, mysterious movie. The movie is based on the novel starring Millie Bobbie Brown.

Waiting… (2005) – It is the Rob McKittrick comedy movie. It features Ryan Reynolds.

Real Steel (2011)- A fighter-turned-promoter reconnects with his son to turn an old-generation robot into a powerful World Robot Boxing contender. Robots are the boxers of the future, and a separated father and son team up to build the toughest one ever.

The Chef Show (Season 2) N – It is the brand new set of episodes. The series starred Jon Favreau.

Wentworth (Season 8) – It is an Australian prison drama.
